Save a Child’s Heart organizes first first Joint Israel-Palestinian Seminar in Peciatric Cardiolog

The Wolfson Medical Center welcomed representatives from the Palestine Medical Complex to the  first joint seminar in Pediatric Cardiology between the two medical institutions.

The event was attended by thirty participants including Dr. Yitzhak Berlowitz, Director of the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon and Dr. Ahmad Betawe, Director of the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah and Palestinian and Israeli physicians. The speakers shared their professional knowledge and there was time for professional networking.

The evening before the seminar started, participants enjoyed dinner in one another’s company in Jaffa. Dr Wafiq Offman who is leaving the Wolfson Medical Center was acknowledged and thanked for the wonderful work he has done there, he is returning to the Palestinian Authority to continue his cardiac work there.

The successful seminar was a part of Save a Child‘s Heart flagship program ”Heart of the Matter”, a project funded by USAID and the European Union Partnership for Peace.
